Activity 3: Museum Visit

Activity 2: Tracing the Route of Ferdinand Magellan

Direction:
- This is a take home group activity. Submission is on the meeting following the discussion on “Ikatlong Bahagi: Ang Pamayanang Proto-Pilipino sa Hamon ng Kolonisasyon” (see the course outline).
- Draw a world map in a paper or surface that is at least as big as the size of one-fourth (¼) illustration board (a round object of medium size may be used in lieu of a flat one) and trace the route and destinations of Ferdinand Magellan in it.
- Identify and describe (in at least one sentence) the event(s) that took place in each of Magellan’s destinations.
- Pictures, illustrations and some materials may be used for artistic purposes.
- Grading is eighty percent (80%) content and twenty percent (20%) artistry.
Activity 1: Aspects of Pre-colonial Life in the Philippines

Direction:
- This is a take home group activity. Submission is on the meeting following the discussion on “Ikalawang Bahagi: Ang Pagsibol at Pag-unlad ng mga Pamayanang Proto-Pilipino” (see the course outline).
- Using a matrix (table), make a comparison on the geological, technical, and cultural aspects of life in the pre-colonial era by enumerating at least three (3) changes in each aspect for each time-span.
- Each change in each aspect must be conveyed in a complete statement using either English or Filipino. Beware of plagiarism or copy and paste system.
- This requirement “may” or “may not” be computer-printed; the paper to be used must at least be the size of a 8”x14” (long) bond paper.
- Pictures, illustrations, among others, may be included as background.
- Grading is 80 percent content and 20 percent artistry.
