Course:  Hist1023 / HS 110 – Buhay, Mga Gawa at Kaisipan ni Rizal

Activity 2:  Matrix on Rizal’s Education

Direction:

  1. This is a take home group activity.  Submission is on the meeting following the discussion on “The Education of Rizal”.
  2. Using a matrix (table), make a comparison on the Rizal’s education in ATENEO and UST by enumerating at least three (3) experiences in each of the years he spent in each school.
  3. Each experience in each year must be conveyed in a complete statement using either English or Filipino.  Beware of plagiarism or copy-paste system.
  4. This requirement “may” or “may not” be computer-printed; the paper to be used must at least be the size of a 8”x11” bond paper.
  5. Pictures, illustrations, among others, may be included as background.
  6. Grading is 80 percent content and 20 percent artistry.

Activity 1:   Komiks-making

Direction:

  1. This is a take home group activity.  Submission is on the meeting following the discussion on “The Childhood of Rizal”.
  2. Using 3 sheets of equally folded 8 x 14 (long) bond paper (front and back covers inclusive),  make a komiks on the childhood of Rizal, spanning from his birth to his primary education in Biñan, Laguna.
  3. Create your own title of the komiks and put your names either as “illustrators” or as “story-tellers”.  Do not forget your course, year and section as the alleged publisher of your work.  See example below:
