N.B.: Instruction

1.  Print your answers in a yellow paper—not back-to-back.  Each question must be written first before each answer.

2.  Answer for each question must be between 3 and 4 paragraphs with between 4  and 6 sentences each.  Use the Filipino language.

3.  Observe proper margins and pagination.   No erasure is allowed!

4.  Strictly no copying!  Sources of data should be properly cited.

5.  A list of at least 3 references should be included in a separate page and should be written in bibliographic, list of works cited, etc. format.  A number sign or 30 within a circle should be placed at the very end of the last answer (before the list of references) to mean the end of your work.

6.  Submission is on 29 July, 2011.

Questions:

1.  Describe Northwest Asia and South Asia in terms of topographical, political, cultural and racial aspects.

2.  Discuss the emergence and gradual evolvement of the Mesopotamian and Indus Valley Civilizations.  In the Neolithic, what departures were achieved from the Paleolithic, and likewise, the Metal from the Neolithic?  What were the factors that gradually contributed to the rise of sedentary and structured societies as against the communal type of the Paleolithic?  Give some specific details to prove your claims.
